Alternative Arrival... for all who don't like highways:
From the North, you can ride directly or parallel to the B3 or B4 into the Harz.
From the South, the B247, for example, offers a great arrival route straight through the Thuringian Forest.
For those starting from the West towards the Harz, the B241 from Warburg is recommended, which offers a great winding route through the Solling.
